Service

Faith just had a whole new meaning in my life after today’s sermon.

On Thursday, I decided to go for a long jog, 2 hour to be exact. It’s been a month since I jogged and I didn’t warm up properly. So in a way, my muscle and joints were hurting. Not like crazy, but hurting. And when there was an invitation for healing, I raised my hand and somehow, the pain just went away almost in an instant. Amazing how things work.

The song “I Stand In Awe Of You” was ringing in my head since Friday. And when it was played during worship, I knew God really had a word for me during the service :D

Thanks be to God

I’ve forgot the last time I typed a wishlist on my blog. Here’s an updated set of wishes

My wishlist:
1) To know God more
2) Set aside one month, and in that one month, 3 weeks I will spent cycling up north Asia, and the last week will be to find my way back to Singapore (Via Plane).
3) Set aside another month doing the same thing as number 2, only this time Europe
4) Get my student life over and done with
5) Look 5 years younger than I look now
6) Complete an 84km marathon next year

Other than 1, the rest are wishes which I really want to accomplish as of now.

Blessed I am by the Lord :D

In sadness I find comfort

I’ve always wanted to go visit the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition for a while already. And for a few days, I’ve been trying to find someone to follow me, but it just so happen that no one seems to be free (or they just don’t feel like seeing me). I heard this voice from God telling me to just go. And frankly speaking, I almost didn’t want to go as it costs 18 bucks and I realise i can do so much more with that.

But in the end, I just went. I got lost finding the Arts House, which spoiled my mood a bit. In my head I was praying that there was an ATM at the Arts House or they would at least allow me to use NETs for payment as I forgot to withdraw money. Which made me even slightly more moody.

And I went, first miracle, there wasn’t an ATM, they didn’t accept NETs, but they accepted Masters :) And I went in.

And about the place, all I can say that this is the only place I’ve seen so many bibles together other than church or a christian bookstore. To know that there are artefacts that date back to even BC affirms my faith in God’s word. I really learnt about many great men of God. About how they try to preserve and spread the bible.

What I thought would be a 1.5 hour walking around kind of thing turned into a 3 hour blessing moment for me.

I’ve just got too much to say. So much so I’m unable to type it here. Here’s the link to the pics I took on FB :)

I learn that God is so real, people even bother preserving his word and spread it over a span of thousands and thousands of years. Even through the times they faced persecution.
